ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This highly rated advanced conference examines labor relations in the airline and railroad industries, where the governing law is the Railway Labor Act (RLA) and the responsible government agency is the National Mediation Board (NMB). In addition to looking at labor-management relations, the course also explores the relationship among individual employees, their unions, their employers, and governmental and judicial regulation.

The premier faculty includes current members of the National Mediation Board as well as other mediators and arbitrators and representatives of carriers, labor organizations, and individual employees.

Get sophisticated insights and practical analysis on issues critical to the airline and railroad industries, including:

  • the roles of election campaigns
  • tactics in the negotiation and mediation process
  • grievance and arbitration procedures
  • international conflicts
  • the FAA and regulation of unmanned aircraft systems
