Roundtable Leaders
Scott Wagner, attorney and member of FordHarrison's employee benefits group, counsels clients on matters relating to the design, drafting, and administration of defined benefit and defined contribution tax-qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, including clash balance plan, 401(k) plans, ESOPs, health and welfare top-hat plans, 403(b) and 457(b) and (f) plans, and executive compensation and 409A issues.  Scott also has extensive experience with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and has advised clients on compliance with that Act, with HIPAA, and various other federal state laws relevant to health and welfare plans.

Pat Ryan, attorney and member of FordHarrison's wage and hour practice group, concentrates his practice on complex litigation, counseling, and government investigations.  He has extensive experience in handling litigation brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state wage and hour laws and regulations.  Pat also represents employers in wage and hour investigations brought by the U.S. Department of Labor, including conducting internal investigations, defending "on-site" visits, and advising clients on effective resolution.

Stephanie O'Rourk, CPA, is a partner at CohnReznick who leads the efforts of the Firm's Hospitality Industry Practice in their Atlanta office.  With more than 20 years of public accounting experience in both audit and tax, Stephanie has worked closely with entrepreneurs, advising her clients on best practices and tax efficient strategies.  Her clients consider her a trusted business advisor and value her experienced insights and business acumen.

Wendell Strickland serves Hospitality Risk Services as our Healthcare Consultant and Broker.  Wendell has over 20 years of experience in helping employers identify and reach their benefit goals. He is an expert in working fully-insured plans and crafting self-funded group insurance offerings. Our Benefits practice delivers a comprehensive suite of Broker Services that ensure our clients receive the best possible value for their benefit spend while reducing administration and staying compliant.

Matt Mallory serves Hospitality Risk Services as a Director with our Property & Casualty division.  He is an expert in structuring and implementing risk management strategies for restaurant and hotel management groups and chains.  His clients range from 2-3 unit owners to regional and national coast to coast chains.  As a thought leader he has been published in LODGING Magazine, Insurance Journal and Restaurant Facility Business Magazine.  He is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a BFA in Speech Communication, certified by the Institute of WorkComp Professionals as a Certified WorkComp Advisor, and currently pursuing his Certified Insurance Counselor professional designation with the National Alliance for Insurance Research and Education.
