The U.S. Department of Labor's (DOL) recent amendments to the "white collar" exemptions for executive, administrative, and professional employees under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will have a significant impact on most employers because it potentially could make millions more employees eligible for overtime compensation.
