The Department of Labor (DOL) has revised the federal minimum wage poster to include the new minimum wage rate. The new poster can be downloaded at no charge from the DOL's website at: http://www.dol.gov/esa/regs/compliance/posters/flsa.htm.
As discussed in a prior Alert, Congress has approved legislation increasing the federal minimum wage rate. The new minimum wage rates are: $5.85 per hour effective July 24, 2007; $6.55 per hour effective July 24, 2008; $7.25 per hour effective July 24, 2009.
