For more than 50 years, Lash Harrison has provided employment and labor law counsel to clients in almost every state and in a variety of industries.
Lash founded FordHarrison in 1978 with 14 lawyers and served as the firm's Managing Partner for nearly 40 years before retiring in December of 2018. During his tenure, he guided FordHarrison's growth to become one of the largest labor and employment law firms in the United States while keeping the firm's commitment to inclusiveness and service to the community at the forefront of its operations.
Throughout his career, Lash has served in leadership roles in a number of professional and civic organizations. Currently, Lash is a member of the Emory University Law School Dean's Advisory Board. He was a member of the Emory University's Board of Visitors from 1999 to 2002 and a member of the Board's Executive Committee in 2001-2002. He also has served as a Trustee and Board Chair of Trinity School, Inc. in Atlanta.
Lash has received many ‘top attorney' honors, including being named to the Hall of Fame of Human Resources Executives' 100 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys list. In 2015, Emory University School of Law awarded Lash the Distinguished Alumni Award, which is given to an alumna or alumnus who embodies the values of the school and has demonstrated extraordinary achievement in the legal profession and in service to society.
