Jeff Mokotoff has a broad employment law practice including drafting and litigating executive, arbitration and non-compete agreements, as well as litigating collective and class actions in state and federal courts.
Before rejoining FordHarrison in 2017, after a 16-year career with the firm from 1996-2012, Jeff held the position of Chief Administrative Officer and Counsel for Turner Enterprises, Inc. (TEI), Ted Turner's private company that oversees all of Mr. Turner's business interests. In 2015, Jeff founded and developed Ted Turner Expeditions, a hospitality company that affords the public an opportunity to visit and explore over 1,000,000 acres of Mr. Turner's 2,000,000 + acres of land. While at TEI, Jeff also served as employment counsel for Ted's Montana Grill, a restaurant chain owned by Mr. Turner.
Jeff serves on FordHarrison's Executive Committee and is a member of the Management Group. He also serves as Co-Chair of FordHarrison’s Non-Compete, Trade Secrets and Business Litigation practice group, and established the firm’s Non-Compete News newsletter. Jeff has extensive experience in representing clients concerning cases involving non-compete agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, employment/business torts, and wage and hour litigation.
During law school, Jeff was the Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the Emory International Law Review.
