    Litigation Paralegal, Tampa, FL

    FordHarrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal for its Tampa office. The paralegal provides direct support to a team of attorneys involved in employment-related litigation before administrative agencies and state and federal courts.     Responsibilities
    · Assists attorneys in all phases of the litigation discovery process; helping attorneys prepare for hearings, arbitrations, and trials. Performs bates numbering and redacting, and e-files documents with various courts
    · Provides direct support to attorneys, and will be asked to perform the following tasks: prepare pleadings and discovery for trial; coordinate the production of third party records; prepare subpoenas in compliance with state and federal regulations; trial preparation and management of trial exhibits; analyze, review and organize privileged documents/data for document production and discovery responses; docket deadlines; prepare wage and hour reports; assist with preparation of federal and state administration filings; draft investigative reports; conduct legal research using Westlaw, BNA, and other research tools, and additional duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:
    · The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate with at least three to five years of litigation paralegal experience.
    Qualified candidates should have excellent interpersonal/communication skills, including strong writing skills, ability to multi-task and work within deadlines, keen knowledge of e-discovery issues and familiarity with state court/agency regulations.
    The litigation paralegal must also be proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other office tools, including e-discovery software and document management platforms. Knowledge of the firm's document management program, iManage/FileSite, as well as its time and billing system, Aderant, are a plus.

    Client Intake Coordinator, Atlanta, Georgia

    FordHarrison LLP-Atlanta Midtown, a labor and employment law firm, is seeking a full time Client Intake Coordinator. 
    Primary Responsibilities:
    •    Monitor the daily status of new matters by completing the necessary billing steps: review of client billing guidelines, notation of delivery method (i.e. e-billed, paper, email), ensure necessary billing fields have been populated for successful prebill/invoice generation.
    •    Create and modify bill groups to include addresses and contacts; assist with creating matter plans; set-up and modify split billing set-ups.
    •    Assist with reviewing all Outside Counsel Guidelines for compliance in order to implement client requirements, including cost expense constraints and electronic billing standards.
    •    Administrative client, matter and timekeeper file maintenance, including, closing files, mass edits revaluing of time, generate ad hoc reports, and complete all daily reporting tasks upon request.
    •    Observe confidentiality in all firm and client matters.
    •    Assist with billing and AR outstanding statements.
    •    Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    •    Degree preferably in Accounting or Business or equivalent experience required.
    •    2+ years' experience in a law firm billing department or comparable industry.
    •    An understanding of billing rate hierarchy and client/matter maintenance.
    •    Experience with Aderant (or equivalent time/billing software). 
    •    Demonstrated understanding of complex billing.
    •    Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products.
    •    Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to establish and maintain relationships with partners, attorneys, finance staff, clients, and third party vendors.
    •    Must be flexible for overtime when necessary. 

    This is a full-time position that reports to the Client Information Manager. Salary will be commensurate with experience. A hybrid work schedule is currently offered.     Senior Client Accounts Specialist, Atlanta, Georgia

    Position Reports to: CFO
    Responsibilities:
    ·    Handle collection of the firm’s AR to meet revenue targets
    ·    Frequent communication with attorneys concerning AR and strategy to collect
    ·    Prepare various ad hoc AR reports from ARCS and ADERANT
    ·    Participate in AR projects when required including preparing and updating spreadsheets
    ·    Research status of ebilled invoices on the clients’ and carriers’ various ebilling sites prior to following up on AR balances
    ·    Maintain a clear understanding of client’s and carriers’ billing processes to be able to determine where an invoice is in the process and who is responsible for payment
    ·    Administer unapplied cash routines by researching and communicating as needed internally and externally to resolve
    ·    Update notes on matter level in ARCS with summary of most recent activity involving AR and unapplied cash Edit posted invoices to reflect deductions and/or unapplied cash applications
    ·    Track ebilled invoice deductions in BillBlast. Determine if deductions can be handled with billing staff only, such as adding timekeepers and rates. Send email notifications of deductions to timekeepers (whose time is deducted), assistants, and BA requesting additional information for task(s) in order to appeal. Handle submission of appeals on the various ebilling sites. This may require editing invoice first in BillBlast and downloading ledes file for submission on site
    ·    Respond timely to questions from AR Specialist regarding cash receipts
    ·    Actively contribute to Client Accounts as team player offering assistance and filling in as needed
    ·    Handle first level of approval process for opening new matters for clients with AR balances older than 120 days
    ·    Assist Client Accounts Lead with updating guidelines on OCG
    ·    Escalate accounts to Managing Partner and CFO

    Requirements/Qualifications: 
    ·    Bachelor’s degree desired, but not required
    ·    Experience with law firm collections and/or billing
    ·    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    ·    Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills

    Talent and Recruiting Coordinator, Atlanta, Georgia

    FordHarrison LLP is seeking a Talent and Recruiting Coordinator in its Atlanta office.     Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
    Attorney Recruitment, Hiring and Onboarding
    • Support the attorney interview process and provide support for the callback interview
    process.
    • Assist with and/or coordinate the onboarding and integration processes for new
    lawyers, including but not limited to, sending pre-arrival communications, scheduling
    orientation programs, preparing orientation materials, etc.
    • Assist in planning the summer associate program, including but not limited to,

    Career Growth and Talent Development
    • Support the firm’s various ongoing initiatives, including but not limited to, the Year
    One Associate Development Program, the formal associate and partner mentoring
    programs, and any other program implementation for attorneys firm wide.
    • Assist with the annual competency-based associate performance evaluation
    process.  Serve as a liaison to the Office Managing Partners to help manage these
    evaluation meetings.
    • Assist with managing the current on-line and other firm resources (e.g., Practical
    Law/Westlaw, Bloomberg, PLI).
    • Assist with the professional department’s budgeting process and the approval of
    professional development expenses, as needed.
    Qualifications:
    •Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
    •Minimum of four (4) years of administrative experience in a law firm, professional
    services or corporate environment.
    •Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite and/or related
    software.  Knowledge of viDesktop platform a plus.
    •Excellent interpersonal, organizational (written and oral) and problem-solving skills.
    •Good judgment, a professional demeanor and presentation.
