About the Program
Join Ford Harrison attorneys Jay Fries and Kathleen Talty for a practical seminar discussing recent federal and state developments affecting employee handbooks. Topics will include the NLRB's recent rulings on non-union employers' handbooks in the areas of confidentiality, social media, email use, and at-will employment, among others. Also discussed will be the EEOC's position on medical leave and "no-fault" attendance policies, as well as recent state developments, including Maryland's pregnancy accommodation statute.
