Hartford Office Managing Partner Johanna Zelman Selected to Profiles in Diversity Journal's 2024 Women Worth Watching in Leadership List

HARTFORD - FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Johanna G. Zelman, the Office Managing Partner for the firm’s Hartford, Connecticut office was recognized by Profiles in Diversity Journal in its 2024 Women Worth Watching in Leadership issue. The prestigious award is in its 23rd edition and is featured in the publication’s third quarter issue.

Nominated by their employers for their passion, potential, and positive influence both inside and outside the workplace, the winners represent corporations, government agencies, and nonprofits from across North America and Europe. Their first-person accounts of lessons learned during their careers—featured in the magazine's print and online editions—are insightful and thought provoking. The women highlighted in this issue are as diverse as the industries and locations they work in, and the impacts they have had on their workplaces and their world.

Johanna graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law and began practicing law in 2005. She represents a wide variety of employers from various industries. Her background in municipal employment, school law, and healthcare results in highly competent and knowledgeable advice and representation for her clients. Johanna has litigated matters and successfully defended public and private sector employers and governments before the courts in the States of Connecticut, New York, and Maine, U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Second and Ninth Circuits, the U.S. District Courts for the District of Connecticut and the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western District of New York, and more.
