Kim Bennett's legal practice is entirely devoted to providing representation and counsel to management clients in labor and employment matters.

Kim is a seasoned attorney with over 25 years of experience in labor and employment law, employee benefits, executive compensation, and corporate governance. She joined FordHarrison following a distinguished tenure at a large multinational beverage manufacturer and distributor.
Kim also previously served as the assistant corporate secretary and head of the labor and employment function for a Fortune 500 multinational manufacturing company and in-house counsel for a Fortune 50 technology company.

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Kim provided strategic advice on matters related to federal laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Title VII, the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and related to state and local employment laws. Kim provided practical counsel related to hiring, leaves of absence, employee relations, employee discipline, and termination in union and nonunion environments. In addition, she conducted and advised on sensitive workplace investigations, and drafted employment agreements and policies.

Kim also has experience handling traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining negotiations, union organizing campaigns, contract administration issues, arbitration, unfair labor practice charge strategy and mangement, and strikes.

Kim's proficiency extends to litigation and disputes, where she successfully oversaw complex employment litigation, managed wage and hour class action cases, and developed strategies for enforcing post-employment restrictive covenants.  Her dedication to upholding corporate integrity was evident in her management of the SOX-compliant hotline and corporate investigations, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
