Susan Bullock focuses her practice on employment law and litigation, including all Federal and State employment discrimination laws and Federal wage and hour law. 

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Susan practiced with a boutique firm representing employees in the same areas. Since joining FordHarrison, she has represented and counseled a variety of businesses including realty management, retail, entertainment, technology and automotive companies, among others. 

Susan is a member of the Alabama Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts in the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama.    

Susan has given presentations entitled "Aftermath of War: Legal Rights of Military Personnel for Reinstatement/Reemployment" and the "Family and Medical Leave Act Update."  She has presented on various other topics, including sexual harassment, internal investigations and employment law basics for managers and supervisors.  She published an article in the Alabama State Bar newsletter, the Addendum, entitled, "Whistleblower Provision of Sarbanes-Oxley Act Impacts Employers."

  • Represented technology company against claims of race and sex discrimination in termination and terms and conditions of employment resulting in summary judgment. 
  • Represented realty management company against claims by two plaintiffs of race and sex discrimination in termination and terms and conditions of employment resulting in summary judgment.
  • Represented national communications company on misclassification case under the Fair Labor Standards Act resulting in summary judgment.
