Alyssa Rodriguez's legal practice is entirely focused on the representation of management clients in employment and labor disputes.
Alyssa defends employers against a variety of claims, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under Title VII and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Alyssa also has experience in assisting nationwide-companies with general employment matters such as drafting handbooks, severance agreements, and settlement agreements that comply with local jurisdictions.
After completing her undergraduate studies at Baylor University, Alyssa worked as a paralegal at a boutique litigation firm for two years. Her pursuit of a legal career led her to UNT Dallas College of Law, where she made significant contributions as President of the Hispanic Law Student Association, one of the largest student organizations on campus. While earning her J.D., Alyssa was a Quarterfinalist and was awarded Best Brief at the Fall 2022 Thompson Coburn Moot Court Competition. She was also a diligent student, earning Dean's List every semester and the CALI Award in Mergers and Acquisitions in the Fall of 2023, in addition to being awarded scholarships by the Dallas Women Lawyers Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and the Mexican American Bar Association. Alyssa also obtained hands-on professional experience while in law school, completing a judicial law clerkship at the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas, a legal internship at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and a judicial internship at the 68th Civil District Court of Dallas County for the Honorable Martin Hoffman.
