"The new Guidance provides more detailed information regarding national origin discrimination. More importantly, the Guidance clarifies and, in some ways, expands the areas covered by national origin discrimination. The Guidance also addresses areas that most employers might not consider when making employment decisions. Interestingly, the new Guidance also strays into other areas such as intersectional discrimination, the role of national security in national origin discrimination, and the use of social security numbers as discrimination," states the article.
