FordHarrison attorneys work with our clients to develop strategies to provide the highest probability of a successful outcome and are licensed in both state and federal appeals courts across the country, as well as the United States Supreme Court.
At FordHarrison, our litigators are highly skilled and experienced trial attorneys, admitted to practice in state and federal courts throughout the country. But our representation does not end with a jury verdict. Resolute in our determination to vigorously represent our clients, we work with employers at every step of the litigation process, including in post-trial motion practice, and pursuing matters beyond trial on appeal.
Members of FordHarrison’s Appellate Practice Group are licensed in both state and federal appeals courts across the country, as well as the United States Supreme Court. We work with our clients to develop strategies to provide the highest probability of a successful outcome. Our Appellate Practice Group attorneys make every effort to preserve important issues and arguments for appellate review at the pretrial, trial, and post-trial stages of litigation in anticipation of a possible appeal. We work diligently to draft persuasive briefs and craft compelling oral arguments designed to leave appellate judges with little to no doubt as to the proper ruling.
Appellate decisions can have significant impact, setting precedent, and affecting industries far beyond the matter itself. At FordHarrison, we never lose sight of the short and long term effects that any decision could have on our clients’ operations. Providing the highest quality defense and receiving a favorable decision for our clients are our primary goals. While no one can predict how any appellate court will rule, any client of FordHarrison can rest assured that their post-trial and appellate matters will be defended and pursued thoroughly, thoughtfully, ethically, and with their best interests always at the forefront.
Whether defending the challenge of a favorable verdict or contesting one not that was not so favorable, FordHarrison has the skill and the knowledge to provide employers with the best possible representation at all stages of the appellate process.
