LOS ANGELES – FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Dan Chammas was named FordHarrison’s Los Angeles Office Managing Partner. Dan’s predecessor, Allison Saunders, will remain as Partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
“Allison did a wonderful job of transforming our Los Angeles office over the past few years. Now, it will be Dan’s turn to take us to the next level,” said Al McKenna, FordHarrison Managing Partner. “Dan is a proven leader and I am confident that he has what it takes to continue to build on the office’s success.”
Dan has practiced employment law in California for over 20 years and has extensive experience defending companies against wage and hour class actions and PAGA actions. Dan has litigated and resolved every type of employment dispute, including individual employment claims for wrongful termination, sexual harassment, racial discrimination and unpaid wages. In addition to his litigation work, Daniel advises clients on a whole array of employment issues, including recruiting and hiring a competitors’ employees, terminating employees, drafting employee handbooks, complying with California and federal wage and hour laws, and leave and disability rules.
