Ford & Harrison Adds Two Partners to Los Angeles Office

LOS ANGELES – Ford & Harrison, a national labor and employment law firm, announced the addition of two new partners, Stephen R. Lueke and Sergio Bent to the firm’s Los Angeles office. Lueke was previously a partner with Ballard, Rosenberg, Golper, & Savitt in Universal City and Bent was previously the managing partner of Bent & Associates.

“Stephen and Sergio’s expertise will be a great asset to our growing office,” said Lyne Richardson, managing partner of Ford & Harrison’s Los Angeles office. “Given our rapid growth, the addition of such top quality lawyers is both welcome and necessary.”

Stephen R. Lueke focuses his practice on labor and employment law and related litigation on behalf of management. He represents employers in all facets of labor and employment, particularly in the areas of wage and hour, union organizing, collective bargaining and before the National Labor Relations Board. Stephen held a number of positions with the NLRB’s headquarters and field offices prior to entering private practice. He received his J.D. from Loyola Marymount University in 1984.

Sergio Bent focuses his practice on employment law, litigation and client counseling. He has also conducted independent investigations into misconduct and administrative hearings for public sector clients regarding employee discipline. Sergio has handled litigation matters involving claims of wrongful termination, violations of the FEHA, wage and hour violations, Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, POBR and ADA. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Howard University School of Law in 1995.
