Ford & Harrison Expands Dallas Office

DALLAS & ATLANTA — Ford & Harrison, one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Raymond D. Martinez and Michael A. Munoz have joined the firm’s Dallas office as associates. Both attorneys formerly practiced with Godwin Gruber LLP in Dallas. Ford & Harrison opened its Dallas office on January 3, 2005.

Ray Martinez focuses his practice on employment litigation. He handles a wide variety of employment issues including wrongful termination, overtime and wage disputes, contracts, deceptive trade practices, breach of warranty, fraud, negligence and disputes. He also has experience with the implementation and analysis of corporate and employment policies.

Ray is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, Co-Chair of Minority Involvement Committee of the Dallas Young Lawyer Association and Chair of the Business Development and Social Committee of the Hispanic Bar Association. He is also on the Advisory Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University (B.A., 1994) and his law degree from Southern Methodist University (J.D., 1997).

Mike Munoz focuses his practice on employment litigation. He defends management on a wide variety of employment issues, including alleged violations of Title VII, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and ADEA. He has handled proceedings before various federal and state agencies. Mike also prepares and counsels employers on employee policies, handbooks, and employment contracts/non-compete issues. In addition, he defends alleged violations of and counsels employers on compliance with ERISA and HIPAA.

Mike is a member of the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association and DVAP. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (B.A, 1997) and received his law degree from Loyola Law School (J.D., 2001).
