Ford & Harrison Launches F&H Solutions Group

Date   May 9, 2006

ATLANTA - Ford & Harrison, a national employment and labor law firm, today announced it has launched a new human resources consulting subsidiary to complement the services of its law practice. F&H Solutions Group will provide comprehensive human resources and labor relations solutions to address business and organizational needs.

F&H Solutions Group will consolidate all of Ford & Harrison’s consultants under one independent, business entity. Jerry Glass, former executive vice president and chief human resources officer for US Airways and, most recently, president of J. Glass & Associates, will lead the consultancy practice. The new firm’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, emerging growth businesses and other entities facing difficult human capital issues.

The consulting firm aims to help businesses and organizations devise solutions to the ever- increasing problems associated with a more complex and competitive marketplace. Globalization, rising oil prices, the turmoil in the Middle East and the restructurings to deal with these developments have strained even the most robust national and international organizations and forced them to adjust their priorities and business models.

“The enormous challenges presented by the current global business environment create complex human resources and labor relations issues, which companies seek our help to address,” explained Glass, who will assume the title of managing partner at the new firm. “Businesses that do not address these challenges will have difficulty surviving in this environment.”

Specifically, the new firm will provide its clients with assistance in human resources, labor relations, strategic and transition planning, management and non-management recruiting, organizational change and performance management, employee benefits and compensation, wage and hour consulting, corporate and learning development, and employee and crisis communications. In addition, the consulting firm will have a robust specialty in assisting companies with corporate restructurings.

“Ford & Harrison has been in the consultancy industry for years and we have been waiting for the right time to consolidate our talent and expand,” said Lash Harrison, managing partner of Ford & Harrison. “Given the growing complexities of the business world, now is the right time. I am confident that the launching of this group will strengthen our position in the market and enable us to deliver ever-increasing value to new as well as existing clients.”

F&H Solutions Group serves its national clientele from offices in Atlanta, Jacksonville, Memphis, New York, Tampa and Washington, DC. The firm’s web site is www.fhsolutionsgroup.com.
