FordHarrison and Ius Laboris Collaborate on World Economic Forum Report Regarding Impact of COVID Policy Decisions

Date   Jan 18, 2022

The World Economic Forum, an international non-governmental organization with 1,000 member companies, meets annually with world political figures, business leaders, economists, and thinkers to discuss how to improve the state of the world by “shaping global, regional, and industry agendas.”  This year, FordHarrison, as part of Ius Laboris, collaborated with the Adecco Group, a global human resources provider, to produce an economic analysis of the impact of COVID policy decisions taken by governments in 20 major economies and the economic outcomes in those countries. The purpose of the report was to ascertain whether policies whose sole focus was to mitigate the health impacts of COVID-19 hindered or helped the long-term recovery and whether countries that only focused on the economic recovery endured greater social harm. The report can be accessed here.

FordHarrison partner Rachel Ullrich prepared the US contribution to the report. FordHarrison is the only US member of Ius Laboris, a global HR law firm alliance. If you have any questions regarding the report, Ius Laboris, or other issues impacting employers globally, please contact Rachel at rullrich@fordharrison.com, or FordHarrison partner Jeff Mokotoff, chair of FordHarrison’s relationship with Ius Laboris at jmokotoff@fordharrison.com. Of course, you can also contact the FordHarrison attorney with whom you usually work.
