NATIONAL – FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that the firm recently added six attorneys to offices throughout the U.S. Berkeley Heights, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Nashville and Washington, D.C. are among the cities with new attorneys.

Heath H. Edwards has re-joined the firm in our Nashville office as Partner. Heath was as an associate in the firm’s Atlanta office for over five years before relocating to Nashville, TN. He focuses his practice on labor and employment litigation for clients in the healthcare, manufacturing and hospitality industries. Known for his ability to explain even the most complex legal concepts to non-lawyers, Heath has represented clients in charges and lawsuits brought under a wide range of federal and state labor and employment laws including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Heath has significant experience in labor relations matters and has participated in collective bargaining negotiations with labor unions and represented employers in arbitration proceedings related to disciplinary actions and contract interpretation under collective bargaining agreements. Heath has also represented clients in multiple Federal Circuit Court appeals from start to finish. Heath comes to FordHarrison from Waller Lansden Dortch and Davis LLP.
Luis C. Hansen has joined the firm’s Berkeley Heights office as Partner. His legal practice is centered on the defense and counsel of management in labor and employment law matters. Luis previously worked exclusively in representing employees in discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, wage, and overtime matters. This well-rounded experience representing plaintiffs provides Luis with a unique understanding into the potential challenges that companies often face in litigation. Additionally, Luis served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jose L. Linares in the District of New Jersey. Luis comes to FordHarrison from Outten & Golden LLP.
