FordHarrison LLP, one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that the firm's Women Leaders Forum was awarded Top 10 recognition in Profiles in Diversity Journal’s 16th Annual Innovation in Diversity Awards.
The Forum is held every three to four years and is a unique invitation only diversity effort. It connects female in-house counsel and HR executives throughout the country with FordHarrison’s female partners to partake in thought-provoking conversations in a relaxed setting. For each Forum the participants are nominated, vetted, selected, and invited to participate in deep, raw conversations about workplace and personal dilemmas only experienced by women in the highest level of their organizations.
Our September 2019 Forum theme was “Impactful, Imperfect Leadership.” The participants openly discussed the relationship between perfectionism/excellence in the workplace and their personal lives and how to lead “imperfectly,” with impact.
The emerging focus of all award recipients is an alignment of diversity and inclusion with business goals in the workplace and marketplace. In their 22nd year, the Innovation in Diversity Awards generated a wide-range of unique applicants from businesses and organizations around the world. All winning innovations will be featured in the December 2019 Edition of Profiles in Diversity Journal.
