About the Program
Home care agencies face unique employment-related challenges in preparing to deal with the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). As the number of cases in the U.S. continues to rise, so will concerns by caregivers, clients, and families. In addition to many practical challenges, COVID-19 presents a number of legal issues due to laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
Sami Asaad, Chair of FordHarrison’s Home Healthcare Practice Group, will discuss these issues and will provide best practices to help your home care agency mitigate the associated employment-related risks.
