Tuesday, June 30, 2015 the Department of Labor (DOL) released proposed regulations revising the salary test for the "white collar" exemptions to the Fair Labor Standards Act's minimum wage and overtime rules. In the proposed regulations, the DOL recommends increasing the salary requirements for considering an employee exempt.
