About the Program
The federal Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) governs employers’ obligations to pay most employees (unless otherwise exempt) minimum wage and overtime for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week. Although the FLSA has been in effect for over 80 years, its legal landscape continues to change and evolve—including, most recently, with the U.S. Department of Labor’s (“DOL”) updated rule which, effective January 2020, increases the salary threshold for certain exempt “white-collar” employees.
Join FordHarrison attorneys Jeff Mokotoff and Pat Ryan for a complimentary webinar discussing the updated requirements under the DOL rule, as well as other regulatory and interpretative changes implemented by the DOL under the new administration. Importantly, it will also provide recommendations and best practices to ensure continued compliance with wage and hour requirements moving forward.
