Nick Bonastia's legal practice is focused on the representation of management clients in employment law disputes. 

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Nick was an associate at a St. Louis-based general services law firm, representing clients in business litigation, general liability, insurance, medical malpractice, product liability, premises liability, and toxic torts.

During law school, Nick gained valuable experience clerking for Judge Matthew Schelp of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. During law school, he also worked with several complex litigation firms in St. Louis and Chicago.

Before pursuing law, Nick attended Elmhurst University, excelling both academically and athletically. As a goalkeeper on the men’s lacrosse team, he earned two all-conference honors and set five career records at Elmhurst.

A native of St. Louis and graduate of St. John Vianney High School, Nick remains deeply connected to his roots. He’s a passionate fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Illinois basketball.

  • Assisted in the successful resolution of multiple OSHA claims through mediation.

  • Resolved numerous product liability claims on behalf of major construction companies, automotive manufactures, and public transportation providers, through settlement, arbitration, and dispositive motions.
