Paul J. Schneider is a Senior Counsel at Paisner Litvin Hauser, which is Of Counsel to FordHarrison LLP.

He has advised clients on taxation and employee benefit matters for more than 30 years.

Prior to joining Paisner Litvin, Schneider spent more than 20 years as a partner in the employee benefits practices of Duane Morris LLP and Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, where he specialized in the areas of employee benefits and tax law, handling a full range of qualified retirement plan, executive compensation, welfare and fringe benefits and related tax matters. He is a Charter Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel and has served as Chairman of the Important Developments Subcommittee of the American Bar Association Tax Section's Employee Benefits Committee. Schneider is a member of the Board of Editors of the Journal of Taxation. He was an instructor for several years at the Philadelphia Institute for Employee Benefits Training and more recently was an adjunct faculty member in the Graduate Human Resources Program at Widener University. Following his law school graduation, Mr. Schneider served a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Roszel C. Thomsen, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Schneider frequently writes articles and lectures on tax and employee benefits-related topics, and is co-editor of ERISA: A Comprehensive Guide, 2d Edition (Aspen, 2002).
