- FH Employment Law Legal Update for 2025 - What’s New and What’s Coming: Extended look at significant recent legal developments impacting the workplace, and what to expect from the Trump Administration, presented by Michelle Bush-Tatum and Louis Wilson from FordHarrison.
- The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA): What Employers Need to Know: Presentation and review of legal requirements by Latoya Allen, the Lead Outreach & Education Coordinator for the EEOC’s Miami District Office.
- Essentials of Effective Discipline, Discharge and Documentation: Getting the Three D’s Right: Deep dive into common mistakes made by managers and HR, as well as best practices, practical insights and lessons learned to take away from the program, presented by Louis Wilson.
- Ask the Experts - HR and Business Panel Discussion on Achieving Your Organization’s Best in 2025: Interactive panel discussion and Q&A forum, featuring HR leaders from two of Brevard’s largest and most beloved employers, as well as Lynda Weatherman, President and CEO of the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast (EDC) and Caron Partridge from United Way of Brevard, discussing challenges and lessons learned from 2024, how the workplace and business climate have and are expected to change in the coming months, and navigating what may lie ahead in 2025. This portion of the program will also include a presentation by Caron Partridge on bringing passion to your workplace, and the importance of engagement, communication, and accountability, with a focus on ethics and ethical leadership in the context of corporate and community change, and how ethical considerations are integral in guiding corporate and community leaders through challenging times.
