Three FordHarrison Attorneys Named "The Top Women Attorneys in Georgia" by Super Lawyers

Date   Sep 1, 2013

FordHarrison LLP is pleased to announce that three of the firm's attorneys have been named "The Top Women Attorneys in Georgia" in the September 2013 issue of Atlanta magazine. Joyce L. Fleming, Patricia G. Griffith and Isabella P. Lee were all recognized. "The Top Women Attorneys in Georgia" will include the list of women selected to the 2013 Georgia Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists, the Georgia Top 50 Women list and law firm advertising.

Attorneys are selected for Super Lawyer lists through a statewide nomination process, peer review by practice area and independent research on candidates.  The rigorous process is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  Only five percent of attorneys in the state of Georgia are selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers.

Joyce Fleming is the partner who manages the Business Immigration Department at the firm. She meets the ongoing immigration needs of corporations located all over the United States and abroad that transfer or hire foreign employees, including temporary employment visas, labor certifications, permanent residency ("Green Cards") and outbound visas for other countries.  She handles visa work for businesses relocating entire offices and clients with high volume immigration needs, as well as those with one-time hiring requirements.

Patricia Griffith concentrates her practice on employment litigation, including individual and class action discrimination and harassment cases, employment contracts, wage/hour disputes, and other employment-related actions.  She tries cases in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies.  Patricia has substantial jury and class certification experience. She is adept at mediating disputes, reducing the likelihood of protracted litigation, and serves as an arbitrator for the State Bar of Georgia.

Isabella Lee concentrates her practice in employee benefits and employment law. Isabella has litigated claims arising under employment contracts, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, and ERISA. Additionally, Isabella advises clients on the design, administration, and legal compliance of health and welfare employee benefit plans.
