HARTFORD – FordHarrison LLP, one of the country's largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Proloy Das, Michael Harrington, and Johanna Zelman Partners in the firm's Hartford office, were named to the 2024 Connecticut Super Lawyers List.

Michael handles a broad range of employment law matters, but concentrates his practice on providing legal guidance to public and private sector employers. Mike is experienced in handling arbitrations and mediations before the State Board of Mediation and Arbitration and arbitrators of the American Arbitrator Association. Michael has extensive experience litigating cases in state and federal courts and has argued numerous cases before the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Connecticut Appellate Court, and the Connecticut Supreme Court. He also provides employers with preventative counsel to minimize legal risk within the changing landscape of labor and employment laws.
Proloy has extensive experience in appellate law, having argued over 80 appeals in state and federal appellate courts, including the Connecticut Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Proloy is well versed in election law practice and deals with important issues such as ballot access, recounts, and challenges, as well as administrative proceedings. Proloy is currently the Connecticut chair to the Republican Nation Lawyers Association, and previously served as general counsel to the Connecticut Republican Party and represented the House and Senate Republican caucuses in constitutional litigation.
Johanna has a vast background in municipal employment, school law and healthcare and provides in-depth and knowledgeable advice and representation for her clients. Johanna has represented a wide variety of employers from various industries, but has a specific strength in matters arising in the municipal employment setting and in public schools and universities. Johanna has litigated matters and successfully defended public and private sector employers and governments before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Connecticut Supreme, Appellate and Superior Courts.
