About the Program
2023 has been a tumultuous year for employers. The economy has been a mixed bag with open jobs still close to 10 million, the number of job seekers is well below that number, and the cost of labor has increased substantially. Consequently, employers have continued to grapple with recruitment and retention, as well as contending with the pro-employee agenda of the Biden Administration, which is in full swing. Most notably, the labor movement has gathered steam and is actively organizing employers of all varieties. Employers are living in challenging times when it comes to the recruitment and retention of employees, as well as navigating the many liability exposure traps (some new, some old) that this Administration is pursuing with vigor. This session will explore these issues and provide guidance on navigating the path forward in 2024.
Attendees of this webinar will learn:
- Learn about the most pressing employer/employee relations issues, including the rejuvenated labor movement.
- Learn about the most problematic liability exposure pinch-points employers face with employees, including the ADA, FMLA, harassment, and retaliation.
- Learn about proactive strategies to drive recruitment and retention, including how to develop and implement a legally compliant DEI program.
