Sara Finnigan concentrates her practice on representing employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, and wage and hour claims across diverse industries.

Sara litigates a variety of employment disputes in state and federal courts across Florida, including under Title VII, the Florida Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Sara has also appeared on behalf of clients in administrative actions with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, and administrative hearings before Florida’s Division of Administrative Hearings. 

Prior to joining FordHarrison, Sara first served as a judicial law clerk at Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal before transferring to Florida’s Sixth District Court of Appeal as part of the re-alignment of Florida’s appellate court system. Sara graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University College of Law in the top 5% of her class, earning Order of the Coif honors. While in law school, Sara served as the Managing Editor of FSU Law Review; she also worked as a law clerk for the Florida Commission on Human Relations and for a management-side labor & employment firm.
