About the Program
Over the last 20+ years, the number of Americans that have died from drug overdoses has increased more than five-fold. In 2021, over 107,000 Americans died of drug overdoses – and that number only reflects those deaths the government was able to track. Likewise, that number does not include those who died from health issues related to drug use (e.g., Hep C or HIV) or those addicted to drugs who died via suicide. This is a national health crisis that we simply are not talking about enough.
Join FordHarrison partner Fred Bissinger and guest co-presenter Dr. Stephen Loyd, Chief Medical Officer of Cedar Recovery, for an in-depth discussion as they outline how to identify potential addiction-related issues in the workplace and provide strategies for navigating the issue/helping an employee. During this complimentary webinar you will learn a few things, including:
- Learning what substance abuse and addiction issues are most problematic for employers;
- Learning what signs and symptoms to look for in identifying substance abuse and addiction issues in the workplace; and
- Learning strategies for addressing substance abuse and addiction issues in the workplace.
