About the Program
On November 4, 2021, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued an interim final rule (the “CMS Rule”) that applies to nearly all health care entities that participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs. Subject to a few exceptions, the CMS Rule requires all individuals who work for those entities to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Join FordHarrison partners Julie Adams, Sami Asaad, and Benjamin Fryer as they provide a detailed roadmap for compliance with the new CMS rule. Issues covered will include: coverage, requirements, interaction with other state and local laws, interaction with other federal requirements, exceptions and exemptions, and suggested action steps.
