2024 is well underway and the Presidential election season is in full swing. The federal regulatory bodies with enforcement authority over U.S. workplaces are in high gear trying to accomplish as much as possible before the election (and in advance of a potential change of Administration). Employers are under tremendous scrutiny by these regulatory bodies and changes in our society only add to the complexity of the situation. This session will focus on trending issues, including the battles over Artificial Intelligence, DEI initiatives, union organizing, and the never-ending issues involving harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. There is a lot to unpack here, and we will explore all of these issues with an eye towards helping employers successfully navigate the inherent challenges and pitfalls associated with them.
